Although it remains the largest and pristine forest of the world, Amazonia has been threatened for over a century by reckless deforestation and devastating mining operations. In reaction to the authorities’ laissez faire, indigenous communities have organized themselves to protect their homeland.  It is time to go back to the Amazonia and make a report.  Who are the new green warriors? Who are today’s bad guys? What solutions are being found? Or remain to be found? Let us give voices to the local people and their leaders.
