Shipwrecked cats, beasts of burden, wild hares… Would you consider them as noxious? As a matter of fact, non-native animals that now run wild all over Australia’s countryside have made the land their own so effectively and with such far-reaching implications they are now the biggest threat to its native wildlife. They destroy its environment, scare its landscape and cost millions. Who are the victims? Who are the perpetrators? Where are the battlegrounds and why are the stakes so high? In this documentary we go where the buffalos roam, where wild horses run free and cats and foxes prowl, in order to understand this wild phenomenon.
