/ Available versions: FR I EN
The Nile gave birth to the greatest civilization of Antiquity. But how exactly? This spectacular series, intends to show evidence of the immense role played by the sacred river in the growth of Ancient Egypt, thanks to the utilization of the latest technology in archaeology, some of it used for the first time in Egypt!
Renowned international Egyptologists will decipher the discoveries coming from above, on the ground, and from the deep waters of the Nile, by means of LiDar scans, underwater drones and photogrammetry. They will let the viewer have unique access to new digging sites.
How did the river evolve over the centuries? What consequences did these changes have? what ingenious systems of ports and canals did the Ancient Egyptians build? Why are there so many sunken architectural wonders? These are some of the questions to be tackled.
